Who we are

About Marlow

Started in a Red Hook studio in 2014 by a pattern cutter and a former buyer at a department-store chain who'd had enough of the throwaway cycle. We make small runs, twice a year, and we don't markdown. If a piece doesn't sell we put it on a friend's back and learn something for the next round.

Cutting is done by Vivian and Sam here in Brooklyn, machinist team led by Beata at a workshop in Hazleton, PA, knitwear by the family operation at a mill in North Carolina that's been spinning since the thirties. We pay above prevailing wage across the supply chain and publish costings if you ask.
